Upon arrival, Monroe Drilling was running the last few joints of surface casing into the hole. Formation Cementing was on location rigging up. Hole depth was 1632 and was drilled with an 8.75 bit. There was 1575 of 7 surface casing run into the hole. Formation Cementing began pumping at 5:15 pm and achieved good circulation at 5:35 pm. The hole was conditioned with 150 lbs of gel and cellophane flake as LCM. Good cement returns were seen 51 bbls into displacement at 6:02 pm. The wiper plug was landed at 6:08 pm and the casing was pressured up to 1050 psi and held for 5 minutes. There was no pressure bleed-off during this time frame, indicating a successful pressure test. 230 sks of 2% gel cement were used for this surface job. |
