The well is equipped with 4.5 inch diameter casing and a 4x2 inch diameter reduction swage with the production valve open. It is unknown if the gauge on the well is operating properly, but is currently reading 40 pounds per square inch. It is setup to be produced as an open-flow well. The production line runs in the direction of a household and appears to provide domestic gas. There is no identification posted at the wellhead. Additionally, there is (1) 100 barrel steel tank used as a rainwater collection tank for the landowner. Updated pictures were taken. Production has not been reported since 2014, and 0s were reported from 2009-2014. I spoke with Mr. Layton on 10/02/2018, and he indicated that he operates this well, and that it provides domestic gas to the landowner. |

The valves on the wellhead are open but, I spoke with Mr. Layton yesterday and he said this well was used for house gas but is no longer able to provide enough gas for the house. There is a gauge on the well but it reads 0 PSI. The tank battery for this well is equipped with a 100 barrel steel tank. RBDMS production reports show that this well has zero (0) production turned in from Layco from 2009 to 2014 and production from 2015-2017 has not been turned in. There is no identification posted on the wellhead or the tank. In accordance with 1501:9-9-05(A)(10) all wells must be legibly identified in a conspicuous place on or near the wellhead or storage tanks with the owner, lease name, well number, permit number, county, and emergency contact information. This well is not in production and is idle. The well owner/operator shall submit a written plugging schedule to Brian Sefcik at 5880 Memory Road Zanesville, OH 43701 within 30 days, per ORC 1509:13(B)(7), and plug the well within 180 days. The well owner/operator will be notified if the plugging schedule is approved or denied. |
