0032250299 2007-09-28 Production Wells No Violations Inspection this day found well with jack - no motor and not capable of producing. Rob Armstrong owns the land and the lease - got it off Gil Countrney in early 1980s - says they are Miss. Exempt and they meet all the citeria, except the water is salty and killing vegetation. Gave him a warning - told him to get it cleaned up and I would be back to re-inspect. Large trees killed with 25 years of damage. This well not producing but others on the lease are - they are on timers and pumping this day. He says there are 7 wells here and I say need added to his bond.
0357838358 2010-01-19 Administrative Inspection No Violations Anonomous source reports Rob is not selling these wells to Rick Hendershot, as previously reported. Rick could not borrow the money and wells are again for sale.

He said as soon as finished working on Shay Ridge, would go over there and get started cleaning it up. Provided Columbus with copy of lease and asked to put on Rob Armstrongs bond.
0931734775 2009-07-27 Production Wells No Violations Inspected brine kill area today and found grass growing nicely - almost all grassed over and 6 high. As an example of Exempt Mississippian wells, the water is over the safety limits but not strong enough to do long term damage, once dumping is stopped. Reportedly, Rob added lime and fertilizer and this has undoubtedly helped bring the grass soon. Still a number of big dead trees still standing.
1155595994 2010-01-20 Production Wells No Violations Inspection this day found well with jack - motor has been removed recently, tree has fallen on jack and not been cleared off, well is not capable of producing. No valve on sales line so well is open to line, good IDs on metal plate. Ground where large brine kill area was has been limed heavily, seeded and grass has grown back - numerous dead trees still standing. Road below tanks where brine water ran across and downhill is still heavily rutted and soggy. Tanks do not have IDs.

1512807026 2010-04-01 Production Wells No Violations Inspection this day with Sup. Stonerock, found well capable of producing, no motor, good IDs at well. Tank needs IDs, pit drained, oily pads in pit picked up, and appears brine water still going over the hill. Not in compliance yet.
1575787420 2009-05-19 Production Wells Violations Noted Inspection this day found well with jack, no motor, not capable of producing. No IDs anywhere on lease. Tanks area consists of 2 100 bbl tanks with 55gal drum for separator. Large pit containing fresh water, @ 20 x 10. Very large kill area below the tanks, extending @ 200 downhill and 100 wide in places with many big trees standing that are dead - absolutely no vegetation. Wells, which can be called exempt Mississippian, have been pumped very hard and much water coming out of the tanks, into the pit and then down over the hill. One of the worse brine kill areas I have seen. Soil samples were taken, also water and will be analyzed. Pictures. Wells were drilled in the 1940s and @ 1955 to the Big Lime - only well at trailer (#20105) supplying house gas. Plug or produce. Post IDs. Add wells to bond. Submit annual production. Clean up brine kill area - remove dead trees, remove contaminated soil and replace with new, lime, seed and mulch to obtain good stand of vegetation. Fill in pit containing brin 4/4/11 - RESOLVED - well producing gas, still needs jack.
