0912110142 2015-11-17 Production Wells No Violations I conducted a status check inspection of this Clinton Sandstone well. My inspection found the wellhead equipped and operating with the aid of a Lufkin, electric powered, pumping unit. The wellhead was diked and a gauge on the 2.375 tubing indicated a pressure of 50psi. The well produces to a diked tank battery containing a horizontal separator, two (2) drip bottles, and a meter run. The valve on the domestic hook-up is closed and the 1 lines for it and the tank heater are disconnected. Fluids are produced to one (1) 210 barrel tank and a 35 barrel poly tank. The tank battery floor has been impacted by an oil spill in the past and is badly stained below the 210 barrel tank. It is apparent that the tank bottom went bad as the tank has been turned over (flipped). The ID sign on the tank is upside down and indicates Tronco as the operator, which is incorrect, and there is no emergency contact information. This well was transferred from Hopewell to the current operator on 5/29/15. I contacted Mark Smith (Hopewell) to see if he had any local contact information for Siberian Solstice Energy. Mark told me he kept a working interest in this well and would have Scott Miller Contracting come out, pull the tank, and excavate the affected material. I also told him that they need to post the proper ID at the tank battery and he told me that the ID signs are being made for all of Siberians wells. Mark said he would notify me when Scott Miller will be out. I told Mark he will have thirty days to correct the issues or a Compliance Notice will be issued. I found no evidence of anything being impacted outside of the containment area. I will continue to monitor progress.
