1221255529 2014-02-14 Production Wells No Violations Status check inspection of this Berea Sandstone well. A check of records indicates that no commercial production has been reported for this well over the past 29 years. A plugging permit was issued to Bakerwell in January of 1989 and expired in 1990 without being executed. Attempts to locate the wellhead were unsuccessfull. I walked to the GPS location of the wellhead and could find nothing in the immediate area. An area 30 to the north had stumps and dirt piled up and the wellhead may be located in this area. I found a 2 steel flow/sales line emerging 250 to the northeast that had a 1 line coming off of it and equipped with a regulator. This ran to a drip bottle and then below grade. A gauge on the line past the regulator read 14psi and the valves on the line were open. Further investigation will be necessary to confirm that this well does exist and that this equipment is, in fact, related to this well.
