0015327187 2019-04-16 Production Wells No Violations I was back on location today to check on the status of the clean-up from the spill. Everything at this point is cleaned up and removed from the location besides the containment dike. The company has put down for absorbent material to soak up the oil and plans on removing all of the stone and contaminated soil from the dike before hauling in fresh gravel. It will be completed this week.

0248417931 2019-04-10 Production Wells Violations Noted I got called out this afternoon on an oil spill that the pumper found. When I arrived on location Knox Energy had two trackhoes on location to contain the contaminated soil that released from the production tank in the dike. The well has not been in operation and Knox Energy has just took this well over in the last month. The company is estimating that 20 barrels of crude oil escaped the production tank and made its way across location and down into a seasonal stream. The EPA was contacted about the situation. Knox Energy worked on getting everything contained tonight so it did not spread any further and will have more equipment on location tomorrow.
0524236725 2019-04-15 Production Wells No Violations I was back on location today to witness the clean up of this well. Knox Energy has men back on location today to finish up removing the absorbent materials from the stream. There are a few little spots left that need some more work done. The containment dike will be cleaned up once the lease road is dry enough to drive back it again. All contaminated soil has been removed from location or it is contained.

1512042606 2019-04-11 Production Wells No Violations I am back on location today to witness the clean up of this spill. Today the company has brought out a dozer and 3 dump trucks to remove the contaminated soil from the location. They will also be hauling out the 100 barrel storage tank today. Chris Holmes from the EPA came out on site today to witness the clean up of the stream. The company has put down booms with absorbent material to make sure that the oil did not spread. They are now bagging up and removing any of the materials used to contain the oil. They will continue to do this over the next couple of days until the job is finished.

2055686999 2019-04-18 Production Wells No Violations I am back on location today to witness the final clean-up and removal of all the contaminated soil from this location. Today Knox Energy removed all the contaminated soil from the dike and had it hauled off of location. The well is now back in compliance. Knox Energy will be setting a new tank and putting the well back in service.
