Mr. Murvine indicated that his brother discovered a large puddle of multi colored fluid with oil in it. My inspection of the site finds the well is produced by a pumping unit. The tank battery is comprised of one 210 barrel tank, a separator, and a meter with a current chart. A trail of discolored soil leads from the wellhead to a puddle of fluid that has a thin layer of oil on it. A test of the water in the puddle with a low range Quantab indicated that chlorides were present at 613 parts per million. Clean the affected area and reseed in order to prevent erosion within 15 days. |
