1352932545 2012-04-27 Production Wells No Violations Inspection of the well head found the following 8.625 surface casing -4.5 production casing -1.5 tubing -Inspector will note well is leaking gas from around the backside of the surface casing -all metals above the surface are rusting severely and well is shut in -strong odor at times -checked for H2S around well and no lethal doses recorded but well is shut in and high winds at time of inspection. The well owner advised he was trying to turn possession back over to a producing co -I advised Him that the well most likely could have H2S present and to contact the State before anyone did any type of work to the well -so the H2S levels could be further evaluated.
