0227422550 | 2012-11-13 | Production Wells | No Violations | My inspection today finds that the status of the well has not changed. I met with Scott Davis of Green Gas, and I reminded him that he needed to plug or produce this well. I also told him that he only had until Dec. 18 to get a permit to plug or the state would take further action. |
0253981281 | 2017-07-26 | Production Wells | No Violations | The purpose of my inspection was to follow up on a restoration. The status of the well and location has not changed. On 7/25/17 I received a phone call from Corey McCudden with Northwood Energy. Mr. McCudden stated that Northwood Energy would look into closing the pit and restoring the land but they were not going to restore the land because they wish to move back in on location to hydraulically fracture the well. |
0757009246 | 2018-01-29 | Production Wells | No Violations | The purpose of my inspection was a follow up on a compliance notice numbered 1347980650. During my inspection the well was equipped 8.625 inch diameter surface casing with a casing head, 4.5 inch diameter production casing, a 4.5 inch diameter to 2 inch diameter swage nipple, and a 2 inch diameter valve in the closed position. No production lines were attached to the well. Northwood submitted production for the years 2013 through 2016 and all zeros were reported. |

1347980650 | 2012-09-17 | Production Wells | Violations Noted | My inspection today finds that the well is equipped with 4.5 casing and 1.5 tubing with a plunger lift system. The production valves are closed. There is no sign of domestic gas service. There is a substantial leak emanating from the nipple on the side of the 8 well head. The tank battery consists of one 100 bbl tank. The tank did not have a dike or identification. I did not see a meter or a separator on site. Complainant was concerned about the gas leak, and stated that the well had not been in production for years. No production has been reported since 2004. Failure to comply may result in bond forfeiture. |

1996611537 | 2019-03-20 | Production Wells | No Violations | The purpose of my inspection was to follow up on a previously issued compliance notice. The well was equipped with 8.625-inch diameter surface casing, 4.5-inch diameter production casing, with a 4.5-inch to 2-inch diameter swage nipple with a 2-inch diameter valve that was in the closed position. The 8.625-inch diameter surface casing was equipped with two 2-inch diameter valves that were in the closed position equipped with 2-inch diameter bull plugs. There was no production equipment or production lines attached to the wells. Identification was not present on the well and production was reported as 0 since purchased in 2013 by Northwood Energy Corporation. Photographs were taken to assist with inspection. |
2097087618 | 2017-07-17 | Production Wells | No Violations | The purpose of my inspection was a follow up on a compliance notice numbered 1347980650. The compliance notice stated that the well was in violation of 1509.062(A) Nonproduction. During my inspection the well was equipped 8.625 inch diameter surface casing with a casing head, 4.5 inch diameter production casing, a 4.5 inch diameter to 2 inch diameter swage nipple, and a 2 inch diameter valve in the closed position. No production lines were attached to the well keeping the well in violation of 1509.062(A) Nonproduction. The location of the well has little too no vegetation, deep erosion leading to a 30 feet wide by 50 feet long earthen pit, and the lease road leading to the well is heavily eroded. One portion of the lease road has a 350 foot eroded rut that ranges between 1.5 feet to 2 feet deep and 1.5 feet wide throughout. Pictures were taken. I spoke to the landowner Barbara Priest and the land caretaker Dave Reed following inspection. I will attempt to contact Northwood Energy to discuss with them the idle well and their plan to restore the disturbed land. |
2106825238 | 2017-10-04 | Production Wells | No Violations | The purpose of my inspection was a status check on a restoration. Prior to this inspection the lease road had extensive erosion and the well location had erosion, no vegetation, and an open pit. During my inspection I examined the lease road and the well location. The lease road was roughly 3500 feet long located in a wooded area. I walked the lease road to examine for issues and found the lease road had been graded with a level surface with no ruts or erosion. The well location was located in the middle of a hay field. I examined the location and found that it had been graded, the pit had been removed, and the location had been seeded. No erosion issues exist. The well was equipped with 8.625 inch diameter surface casing with a casing head and 4.5 inch diameter production casing with a closed valve. No production lines were attached to the well. |
