Inspections Performed

1554746876 2019-04-08 Production Wells No Violations The purpose of my inspection was a status check on a producing well. I was unable to locate the well at the GPS coordinates provided in RBDMS. When I arrived at the location, I spoke with the land owner Mike Stover and he informed me that he did not know of a well at that location and showed me an existing well that is approximately 320 feet from the GPS coordinates in RBDMS. The well was equipped with 6.625-inch diameter surface casing with a 2 port style well head, one side of the well head had a 1 inch diameter nipple and valve that was closed at the time of my inspection, the other side of the well head was open to atmosphere and there was a small oil leak, there was 2 inch diameter tubing with rods also equipped on the well. There was approximately 80 square feet of pollution and contamination on the downslope side of the well head. There is a intermittent stream approximately 40 feet from the well that leads to Buffalo Run steam. The landowner informed me that nothing has been done to the well for several years. Identification was not posted on the well head, and production has never been reported. I marked the well with caution tape and photographs were taken to assist with my inspection.
