0128329752 2017-03-06 Production Wells No Violations The inspection this day revealed that this well has its wellhead buried under the ground, at the surface this well is equipped with 2 inch diameter production lines and a small drip tank near the well with the valves open on the lines. There are no associated tanks with this well. The reason for this inspection was I received a call from Jim Hand who is purchasing the property from the current landowner Dave Stirgwolt. Jim and his wife were told that there were three wells on the property that are being used to heat the whole house. The three wells were 34115605910000, 34115605900000, and 34115605890000. All three of these wells are Historical Production in RBDMS. I went and spoke with Dave the current landowner about these wells. He informed me he has been using these wells for house gas since he has had the house built on the property. When Dave got the property the wells were shut in and he has them swabbed and cleaned and has been maintaining the wells. All three wells are hooked up to the house and used for house gas and other amenities. I believe Dave has never registered the wells under him through the state but as he told me he has been using them. Dave informed me he has signed a contract with Jim and his wife and has sold the property to them. I spoke with Jims wife and told her my findings and if they intend to use the wells for house gas they must register as owners of the well. She had no issues with doing that and I told her I would contact Kathryn Smith in Columbus to send her an owner packet to fill out so when they officially move in they would already have taken care of this issue. There are no issues with this well at the time of inspection. Dave Stirgwolt can be reached at his home at 740-554-7207 and Jim hand and his wife can be reached at 513-896-9181.
