I found a well with pumping unit on it - the unit has no motor to run it and the horse head is removed from the pumping unit. The well has 1 tubing in it and the well is not tied to any sales line, is not capable of producing. All the valves are shut on the well and there are 3 3-4 trees growing up thru the unit making it impossible to pump. At the tank, I found a laydown separator with meter run and a current chart in the meter - it had just been changed that day but was registering gas sales and chart said Gifford #2. I cannot explain how that is possible as neither well is tied into the meter. The identification at the 100 bbl tank is complete and the dike is not sufficient to meet SPCC requirements. I talked to the landowner, Mr. Tom Thomas, and he says the wells have not produced in many years and he has received no royalties - that he broke the lease in 11/11 and at that time, Titan was the owner of record at the court house. His lawyer could find no record of Stonebridge owning the well. They have reported gas production for years 2009 and 2010. 3/7/12 - I re-inspected this well and confirmed that all valves at the separator are closed and chart is still showing gas sales. Stonebridge continues to change chart. At the well, I confirmed that there were no lines connecting the well to the tanks or separator - gas sales from this well not possible. |
