Jonathan told me that their sump pump has been stolen and they have ordered a rebuild kit for the injection pump. Jonathan told me he will send a vacuum truck to clean out the dike.

The water level would drop at a constant rate. Additional tension was pulled twice. After the second time a joint was pulled out and packer was set. The water level still dropped at a consistent rate and as such was not able to fill the annulus with fluid to test. I witnessed two more joints of pipe with additional attempts to fill with water to no avail.

Jonathan informed me that the tubing parted at 282 feet while attempting to release the packer. Additionally a section of the wellhead slip fell into the 5.5 inch casing. They are scheduling tools to fish out the slip. They plan to use an overshot to retrieve the tubing and packer.

Witnessed a rebuilt Halliburton R-4 packer and used string of 2 3/8 inch tubing being installed in the 5 1/2 inch casing. The packer was set at 2391 feet. The packer has 4 shear pins installed and was set with 27,000 lbs. tension. The annulus was filled with 45.19 barrels fresh water and 1 gallon inhibitor. The annulus was tested at 895 psi for 15 minutes with no loss in pressure. The packer variance is under review by the UIC Section.

I started the timer and the well held steady at 885 psi the entire 15 minutes elapsed time. I then shut the valves and unhooked my gauge.
