0443467017 2018-09-20 Production Wells No Violations The well was equipped with a pumping unit and an engine that was covered with a tarp. The well showed no signs of recent pumping activity. Valves were open and well might be producing residential gas for landowners. No identification was present at the tank battery or the wellhead. The well was originally issued a violation for lack of identification and pollution and contamination. No identification was present and the oily substance has naturally remediated. The tank battery consists of 2-100 barrel tanks and 2 vertical separators.
0786747424 2018-04-24 Production Wells No Violations Inspection of the tank battery found two 100-barrel steel tanks and two vertical separators. A separator for each well. The well was equipped with a pumping unit and an engine that was covered with a tarp. The well showed no signs of recent pumping activity. However, both valves were open and well might be producing residential gas for landowners. No identification was present at the tank battery or the wellhead. The well was originally issued a violation for lack of identification and pollution and contamination. No identification was present and the oily substance has naturally remediated. The land owner was adamant about his family owning the well and at first tried to stop my ingress. He calmed down and allowed me to inspect the wells. I gave him a card and explained that maybe just a form 7 needed filed with the State of Ohio.
1456935305 2016-03-02 Production Wells Violations Noted Inspection of the tank battery found two 100 barrel steel tanks and two vertical separators. A separator for each well. By one of the separators I found an oily substance which appeared to originate from the blow off valve on the separator. This contamination started a the separator and went in a swath of about 3 wide by 18 long. This oily substance will need to be cleaned up and disposed of in a proper manner along with any of the dirt contaminated with chlorides. The well was equipped with a pumping unit and a engine that was covered with a tarp. The well showed no signs of recent pumping activity. However both valves were open and well might be producing residential gas for land owners. No ID was present at the tank battery or the well head. 1) Contamination needs to be cleaned up and disposed of properly. Site will be seeded and mulched to re-establish vegetation growth. 2) Proper ID will be posted at the well head as well as on the tank since tank battery is for more than one well.
