0027179618 2002-08-27 Orphan No Violations Start investigation of possible orphan well. Records indicate that the well was drilled in the 1920s by OFG. The Ohio Division of Mines was notified in 1964 of OFGs intention to plug and abandon the well. No other information was available in RBDMS. The landowner Brian Kemski (330-483-0089) initiated the action with a call to Fountain Square and a referral to the Uniontown office from Mike McCormack. The field inspection indicated that the well has not been plugged and that there is a three inch gas line from the wellhead which at some point has been tapped into or reduced to a one inch line. There was a minor gas odor along the smaller gas line. The investigation will continue.
