1177428217 2007-04-24 Orphan No Violations Called by John Andrews to investigate orphan well on property at 17300 West River Rd south of Columbia Station. Located a 10 3/4 casing with 7 casing inside 10 3/4. 7 casing has a cap with 1 piping and valve. 3 to the east is a 7 casing above ground with an old hand pump and 1 piping inside 7 casing. This is a water well that was used to supply drilling of the gas well. Well records indicate well was plugged in 1926. Good access at this time, but land will be developed in future. Sent application to John Andrews on 4-23-2007. See orphan well report for more details. No plug report on file. Well was drilled and considered dry. Used for domestic house gas before home was torn down.
