0383625532 2018-06-04 Production Wells No Violations My inspection revealed that the plastic brine tank has not been removed. The tank was leaking during the inspection and appeared to be getting worse from my previous inspection. I also noticed that the heat tube on the 100 barrel tank that drains into the plastic brine tank was leaking during the inspection. I called and left a voicemail message for the well owner Harold Donaker to remove the plastic tank and repair the leak on the 100 barrel tank as soon as he can. Time of inspection: 10:30 AM. Weather: 67 degrees F, Cloudy
1094415926 2018-06-11 Production Wells No Violations My inspection revealed that the plastic tank has been removed and the leak on the heat tube has been repaired. The contamination has been removed. The violation has been resolved. Time of inspection: 1:00 PM. Weather: 69 degrees F, Overcast
1526653471 2018-05-18 Production Wells Violations Noted My inspection revealed that the well was equipped with a pumping unit and gas motor. The well showed signs of recent production. The tank battery consists of (3) 100 barrel tanks inside an earthen dike and a 1100 gallon plastic brine tank outside the dike. The plastic tank had approximately 600 gallons of fluid in it and was leaking brine during the inspection. The leak was at the bottom of the tank and was leaking approximately 1 drip of water per second. The brine was tested for chlorides with a high range Quantab titrator test strip. The test resulted in 10 Quantab units which equals >6215 ppm for chlorides. I also observed oil contamination within the dike. The oil contamination was approximately 3 feet by 3 feet and appeared to be leaking from a metal 2 inch line. Identification at the tank battery was incomplete. The well owner shall complete the following task to bring the well into compliance: 1) Remove pollution/contamination from within and outside the dike within 5 days 2) Remove or repair leaking brine tank 3) Post identification within 10 days. I contacted well owner Harold Donaker on 5/21/2018 at 9:00 AM and advised him of my findings. Time of inspection: 9:30 AM.
1528465039 2018-06-08 Production Wells No Violations My inspection revealed that the plastic tank was still leaking and has not been removed. The heat tube on the 100 barrel tank was still leaking as well. The rate of the leak on the plastic tank was measured in a cup to determine how much brine has leaked since I found it. I estimated that 2 barrels of brine has leaked since 5/18/2018. Time of inspection: 9:25 AM. Weather: 72 degrees F, Sunny
2129106496 2018-05-29 Production Wells No Violations My inspection revealed that the well owner posted identification at the tank battery. The oil within the dike was removed. The plastic brine tank was not removed and was still leaking brine. I called Harold Donaker and asked him when he would be able to remove the tank. Mr. Donaker said he would do it by the end of the week. Time of inspection: 9:10 AM. Weather: 78 degrees F, Sunny
