2066905446 2017-05-30 Plug / Plug Back No Violations This inspection was conducted as a status check in regards to the spring contamination investigation that is on-going on the Geidenberger property. The purpose of this inspection was to attempt to locate and uncover this well to determine if it is leaking crude oil. I was accompanied by Orphan Inspector Jeff Fry, Division Surveyor Tom Smith, Emergency Operations Regional Manager Trisha Cartmell, and Mr. Jerry Biggs. Mr. Biggs assisted us in pointing out where he believes the well was drilled. The plat map for this well was also referenced to aid in locating the well. Tom Smith and Jeff Fry utilized metal detectors to identify magnetic signals that may indiacate locations of the buried drive pipe. Four spots were marked that had strong magnetic signals. These location will be excavated in an attempt to find this well. Time of inspection: 9:00 AM.
