My inspection revealed the excavation that was opened to repair the leaking steel pipe has been back filled. I began walking from the point of the oil release down hill to look for any oil remaining on the surface of the ground. I did not locate any oil on the surface of the ground. I then entered into the unnamed stream at the point of the oil release and walked down stream taking pictures and looking for remaining oil and oil soaked debris. I inspected this unnamed stream until it enters into Buckeye Creek. I did not locate any oil in the unnamed stream or any oil soaked debris. The soil that was contaminated with oil was placed in a plastic lined pit and the pit was covered with plastic. It is Pillar Energys intention to bio remediate this soil. New picture were taken during my inspection. |
