| 1089624088 | 2012-11-30 | Orphan | No Violations | A follow-up inspection revealed that the well was situated on property designated as agricultural field and currently for sale. At time of the inspection, Permit No. 3586 and Permit No. 3610 were located on separate tracts of land, but owned by the same landowner, Ms. Mary Meier per Division records. During the inspection, it was noted that the well was idle with no attached production lines. The well consisted of 7 casing equipped with a wellhead at ground level, and 4.5 casing that contained a gate valve and a 4x2 swage with ball valve on top. The valves were closed with no discharge of fluid or gas detected with a meter. An area approximately 40 x 15 contained fluid near the well location. The overall proximity and shape resembled an old pit that was never closed. There was no observed oilfield debris located on the property. Trees have grown around the well location and will require removal to eliminate overhead obstruction. |
