I conducted an inspection of the proposed area of the well and could not find any signs of oil and gas wells in the area. The well card for this particular well is empty and shows no details of it being drilled or even plugged and abandoned. After talking with the landowner who has lived there their entire life with no knowledge of an oil well I concluded that this well was either never drilled or was immediately plugged and abandoned. This information will be forwarded to Columbus so that records can be updated. |
