Inspections Performed

Inspection ID Inspection Date Inspection Type Inspection Result Inspection Comments
0005609i23 2001-02-14 Orphan No Violations An inspection was requested from Joe Hoerst and Bill Jonard on this well . The inspection revealed that the well is Idle and Incapable of producing. The well has 5 1/2 csg with a well head. The well head is open which could allow fluids or gases to escape into the air or ground at a later time. According to the production records, well owner list and RBDMS , there is no known owner for this well at this time. At this time I have not spoken to Mr. Boyle about this well . I spoke to Joe Hoerst after inspecting this well and explained that the well maybe Idle and Orphan at this time. We also talked of cutting the well casing down, closer to ground level. At this time the well csg is approx. 30 to 40 ft in the air. If the well casing is to be cut closer to the ground and left until further actions, there should be a well head welded on the csg with working valves. There maybe gas and/or oil in the well so well should be loaded before cutting csg. I am also requesting to witness the cutting of the cutting. If a pad is to be built around the well the pad should be approx. 50 x 75 ft. this should allow for servicing of this well at later date.
