1398423454 2008-02-13 Production Wells Violations Noted On 2/13/2008, a complaint was by the DMRM alleging that there is a gas leak on Shaw Road. An inspection of this well was conducted on 2/13/2008. This well was is one of two wells, in production, closest to the complainants residence. Nearby gas lines were also inspected and no leaks were found. No odor was observed around complainants residence. A gas meter was also utilized. An interview with the complainant revealed that the odor smelled more like crude oil. The complainant was informed of the inspection results and instructed to call inspector if nuisance is again observed. A meeting was held with the well owner regarding the complaint on Shaw. The owner, Mr. Mundy, states that this well provides house gas and and is rarely utilized. An inspection revealed no odor around the well. Mr. Mundy was informed that although no odor was observed, identification would be needed. In addition, the electric line routed to the well would need to be either buried or placed off the ground.
