1500995841 2017-07-25 Orphan No Violations On location for the Lucas #1 Orphan Well Plugging Project by Hydrocarbon Well Service. As part of a continued effort to seal the lost circulation zone between 20 and 40 feet, a fifth squeeze job with cement and Lost Circulation Material was conducted. A total of 20 sacks of cement and one bag of cellophane were mixed and pumped down the well through the existing ten (10) inch casing. The cement was observed circulating up the back side of the 10 inch casing and around the lined cellar around the well. The cement was displaced with approximately one half (.5) barrels of fresh water, shut in, and left to set overnight. There was no further observed contamination of the in the Ottawa River during the pumping of the cement.
