-1822092143 2013-9-25 0:00: OR No Violations
1822092143 2013-09-25 Orphan No Violations I inspected the well pursuant to a request of the landowner (ODNR Complaint #4489). He indicated that the suspected well has been on the property for as long as he knows. He is not aware that there has ever been a domestic supply of gas from the well. The well is located in a subsurface vault in the backyard area. The vault is covered with a collection of loose boards. The vault is 6 feet square and 5 feet deep. The ambient air within the vault did not indicate any detectable levels of methane, explosive gas, or hydrogen sulfide. The oxygen level was normal. I did not note any signs of gas leakage. The fittings appear to intact. The landowner indicated he would contact me with a plan for moving forward.
