0658404108 2017-06-27 Orphan No Violations On site today to check condition of well. There is a very faint odor of gas, not detectable with Sperian Meter, and some bubbling of fluid can be heard in the 1 inch diameter tubing immediately adjacent to the well head. The well was previously tended to by R.A. Gibson and Associates and they placed appropriate swages and valves on top of the 4.5 inch diameter casing so as to secure the well head. Collected 3 photographs and accurate GPS readings. UPDATE: Received message from Ron Gibson; previously they had entertained the idea of leasing and producing this well from St. Paul Lutheran Church. Costs to tie into a Columbia line was prohibitive and they opted to terminate their agreement with the church. A new Right of Entry will be sent to the church.
1955563460 2017-06-27 Orphan No Violations On location today as part of an investigation into this well being in the Orphan Well program. Collected 3 additional photographs, and accurate GPS coordinates. Noted a sign indicating this well belongs to R.A. Gibson & Associates. Have sent them an e-mail requesting verification of their involvement with this well. An e-mail response was received and indicated that the sign was placed there when they were testing the well in anticipation of taking ownership. Economics did not justify taking ownership, and the sign was left there for ID purposes. The well IS NOT on their bond.
