At the time of this inspection, I noted the following: a wellhead with pump-jack system and associated tank battery in separate board-on-board enclosures located on a residential property. The well is co-located with the #2-2146 well. Fittings and connections at the wellhead were secure. I did note that there was a small leakage of gas from a loose fitting at the surface casing nipple and I notified CJ Cutter. The pump-jack supports were solid. The stuffing box fitting was secure with no leaking or problems. The bridle attachments were secure. Fittings and connections at the battery were secure. The load-line valves were plugged and locked. The tank lids were closed and sealed. The secondary containment had several inches of standing water from recent rainfall. The water was clear and free from any signs of spills, leaks, or other problems. Access to the two wells and associated battery is from a shared-use, gravel-paved access road that enters from Wallings Road and also provides access to a barn and residential structure. I walked the areas surrounding the well and battery systems and observed the natural soils and vegetation to be free from signs of leaks, spills, or other adverse impact from the on-going production activity. |
