1045586136 2017-03-16 UrbanProduction Wells No Violations I inspected this well location as part of routine inspection activity. At the time of this inspection, I observed the following: a wellhead with plunger lift system and associated tank battery located on the grounds of an existing elementary school. The wellhead and battery were in separate board-on-board enclosures which were locked. Access to the battery and wellhead was afforded by the shared-use, asphalt-paved driveway and parking areas utilized by the school. The battery was comprised of one 140-barrel steel, low-boy production tank, one 50-barrel steel brine tank, and horizontal separator. The fittings and connections at the wellhead and battery were secure and free from signs of leakage. The load-lines were plugged, locked, and secure. The ID signage was present and accurate. I walked the areas around the wellhead and battery and found no signs of impact or degradation.
1746380815 2014-04-16 UrbanProduction Wells No Violations The producing unit is comprised of a mechanical plunger lift system and aboveground storage tank (AST) battery in separate board-on-board enclosures. The enclosures are locked. Signage and ID is present and in good condition. There is secondary containment at the battery. The well is producing with no signs of leakage or problems. The battery is comprised of 1 low-boy steel 100-barrel production tank and 1 steel 50-barrel brine tank, separator unit and Dominion metering run. Process safety equipment is present. The dike is free of oil. The load-outs are locked and are fitted with secondary containment. The surrounding areas are well maintained and runoff appears to be well managed.
2021148753 2014-05-22 UrbanPreliminary Restoration No Violations I inspected this producing unit to evaluate conditions for preliminary restoration. The well was completed in 07/19/2010. Elements of the well consist of a production wellhead with standard valve assembly and mechanical plunger lift system located on the grounds of the Highland Elementary School. The wellhead is located in a closed and locked board-on-board enclosure. The 8.625-inch casing is valved to surface but is not gauged. There are no signs of leakage or problems at the wellhead. The aboveground storage tank battery is located west of the wellhead, on the fringe area of the asphalt-paved parking for the school. The battery is comprised of 1 steel 100-barrel production tank, 1 50-barrel poly brine tank, and a horizontal separator. The battery is located in a separate board-on-board enclsoure which is gated and locked. The load-outs are bull-plugged and locked with a clamshell-style secondary containment system. There is process safety equipment in use (carbon filter, low-pressure relief valve, and spark arrestor). The secondary containment at the battery appears well maintained. I did not observe any signs or evidence of leakage, spills, or problems. There is ID signage at the battery which is legible and in good condition. There is well established evergreen screening at the battery. The area formerly occupied by drilling equipment, including former pits, has been restored and reclaimed. There is well established grassy vegetation throughout the area. The area of the well is leve. I did not observe any signs of gully formation or washouts. Access to the battery is afforded by the parking area with no specific defined lease road neeeded.. Beyond the area cleared for the wellhead and tank battery, the area is occupied by the school and grounds with densely wooded areas beyond. Requirements for Preliminary Restoration are met.
