-extent shallow soil punch-bar gas survey in selected areas of the yard, including the areas within and without the stressed portion of the yard. The results of this survey indicate gas readings of up to 100% LEL within the observed dead area. Readings outside of the dead area dropped to <10% LEL within several feet. The reported former location of well #2-1753 did not exhibit any surface expression of stressed vegetation or elevated gas readings. I observed a 6-inch diameter PVC pipe, located on the east side of the property. The pipe appears to extend several feet vertically into the subsurface. The top of the pipe is truncated, roughly, at grade and had been fitted with a slip-cap cover. The 6-inch pipe is immediately east of the dead spot. Beyond this feature to the east, I observed a 2-inch diameter PVC riser affixed to a sign post located in the Rustic Ln. tree lawn. Beyond the tree lawn, to the east, I observed a 30-inch diameter man-lid within the roadway. The location of the man-lid and vent correspond closely with the reported historic l
