0474665176 2013-05-14 Drill / Deepen / Reopen No Violations On the day of my inspection Maric Drilling was rigged up and spudding the well. There were no sags or tears in the pit liners. The permit was in the doghouse and there were no leaks or spills.
0587527693 2013-05-24 Casing String Witnessed No Violations On the day of my inspection Maric Drilling ran 4.5 casing to 4760. Petroset cemented with 150 sacks of 50/50 poz. Good circulation was nmaintained throughout the job. Petroset landed the plug, pressured up to 1200 psi and held the pressure for 5 minutes.
1075936654 2016-10-17 Preliminary Restoration No Violations On the day of my inspection I met pumper Ray Dillon at the site to go over the recent work on the restoration. I found that 85% of the site was growing with grasses and weeds. The erosion ditch had been eliminated and replaced with a purpose built drainage course that was covered in stone. There were no other signs of erosion around the well site. This site passes preliminary restoration.
1271480207 2015-07-24 Preliminary Restoration No Violations On the day of my inspection I found that most of the grass did not take. Over 50% of the site was still bare. There was one wash-out starting to form. I met with pumper Ray Dillon and told him that they need to re-address the restoration.
1368627135 2013-05-15 Drill / Deepen / Reopen No Violations On the day of my inspection Maric Drilling pressured up on the surface casing to 300 psi and held the pressure for 30 minutes. I observed zero percent bleed off during the test. The casing passed and the crew was authorized to continue drilling.
1369234718 2013-05-22 Drill / Deepen / Reopen No Violations On the day of my inspection I found that Maric Drilling was drilling the 7.875 production hole on fluid at a depth of 4159. The permit was posted in the doghouse, there were no sags or tears in the pit liners and there were no leaks or spills around the drilling rig.
1370686580 2014-10-02 Preliminary Restoration No Violations On the day of my inspection I found that the site had been graded, but there was no established vegetation for erosion control. The lower side of the site had minor washouts from rainwater runoff. The hill side on the lower end needs to be graded to remove the ruts and the entire site need to be seed for erosion control. This site does not pass restoration at this time. I contacted MFC Drilling to report the issues.
1371740393 2013-06-20 Drill / Deepen / Reopen No Violations On the day of my inspection I found that all drilling equipment had been moved off the location. The drill pad was rough graded and the drilling pits were closed. The well head was shut in at the 4.5 casing. No violations at this time.
1374064848 2013-07-17 Drill / Deepen / Reopen No Violations On the day of my inspection I found that nothing more had been done to reclaim the drill site. The well head was shut in at the 4.5 casing and I found no leaks or spills.
144201874 2020-4-27 0:00: PW No Violations 0.50
1469121167 2016-07-21 Preliminary Restoration No Violations I was contacted by Dwayne McElhaney with Coshocton Pipeline, a contractor for MFC Drilling. Dwayne wanted to meet at the well site to look at the progress of the restoration and go over the actions needed to pass the restoration. On the day of my inspection I found that 50% of the site was growing in well established grasses and broadleaf vegetation. The other 50% was mostly bare with very sparse grass growth. There was one 8 to 10 wide erosion ditch that extended 30 down the lower side of the well site. The site has been seeded multiple times over the course of three years and no grass or weeds are growing. My suggestion to Dwayne was to repair the wash-out and fill it with large stone to prevent further erosion, and to seek a landowner waiver for the establish vegetative cover requirement
1711752852 2013-05-14 Casing String Witnessed No Violations On the day of my inspection I found that Maric Drilling had drilled to 594 on fluid. They set 561 of 8.625 casing. Petroset broke circulation and pumped 245 sacks of class A cement. Good circulation was maintained throughout the job with approximately 8 barrels of cement returns.
1718943687 2013-05-17 Drill / Deepen / Reopen No Violations On the day of my inspection Maric Drilling was not drilling. The rig was broke down, waiting on replacement parts. They were at a depth of 1675 with a 7.875 bit. The permit was on display, the pit liners were in good shape and there were no leaks or spills.
1871245063 2015-06-02 Preliminary Restoration No Violations On the day of my inspection I met with Duane McElhaney, excavator for MFC, to go over the restoration. I found that the entire site had been re-graded and seeded. There was grass growing, but it needs some more time for adequate coverage.
