Inspections Performed

Inspection ID Inspection Date Inspection Type Inspection Result Inspection Comments
-1147506950 2018-3-16 0:00: PW No Violations 0.50
1147506950 2018-03-16 Production Wells No Violations On the day of my inspection I found that a new identification sign had been posted at the production tanks with correct, legible information. I also found that the 50 barrel steel tank had been removed from the location. The compliance notice is resolved.
1520366591 2018-03-06 Production Wells Violations Noted On the day of my inspection I found that the well was being produced with a natural gas-powered pumping unit. The engine, drive belts and fuel line were intact. The lines were connected at the wellhead and the tubing valve was open. There were no leaks around the wellhead. The production equipment consisted of two 100-barrel steel tanks in a shallow earthen dike, and one 50-barrel steel tank outside of the dike. The identification information written on one of the tanks was incomplete and the permit number was wrong. There was an old brine scald running 10 to 15 feet downhill from a flow line connection next to the 50-barrel tank. There were no active leaks at the connection and the bare soil path was dry. The hill side was eroding out from under the 50-barrel tank. There were no lines connected to the tank and it was empty. The well owner/operator must post legible identification which shall include the following information: well owners name; lease name and well number; API permit number; county and township; local emergency response phone number and company emergency phone number. It is recommended that the 50-barrel steel tank be relocated within the earthen dike, or removed from the site if it is no longer in use.
1812035874 2016-06-14 Production Wells No Violations On the day of my inspection I found that the well was being produced with a natural gas powered pumping unit. The fuel line and drive belts were intact. The lines at the wellhead were connected and the valves were open. The tank battery consisted of two 100 barrel steel tanks and one 50 barrel steel tank. There was an earthen dike around the two 100 barrel tanks. I found no leaks or spills at the wellhead or tank battery. The identification at the tanks was incomplete. I called and got no answer.
