0644297021 2016-10-24 Production Wells No Violations On the day of my inspection I found that the well was equipped with a natural gas powered pumping unit. The engine was intact, the drive belts were in place and the gas line from the casing was connected. The production casing was set on a casing hanger. One of the casing head nipples was equipped with an open Demco valve that connected to 1 inch line, that ran to a vertical drip bottle. The 1 inch line exited the drip, through an open ball valve, through a gauge that showed 2 pounds, into plastic 1 inch line that ran north into the forest. I found that the line ran to a home at 17451 TR 184. I spoke to the home owner who claimed that they were getting house gas from this well. The tubing was connected to 2 inch steel line, through an open ball valve and connected to plastic line that ran to the tank battery. The gauge on the other tubing nipple showed 30 pounds. There was a small area of old paraffin and staining around the wellhead that was less than 12 inches in diameter. I found no active leaks at the wellhead. The permit number and well number was written on the pumping unit. The tank battery consisted of two 100 barrel steel tanks inside of an earthen dike. The load valves on both tanks were equipped with bull plugs. Correct, legible identification was posted on one of the tanks. I found no leaks or spills around the tank battery. There was zero (0) oil or gas production reported for this well in 2014 and there are no production numbers reported for 2015.
