0015934050 | 2018-09-06 | Production Wells | No Violations | The purpose of my inspection was to document the status of well #2-1807. Chesapeake Energy has received permits for two additional well that contained conditions for SIMOPS and anti-collision for well #2-1807. At the time of my inspection the well had not been temporarily abandoned. Cellar had been dug for well #2-1806 and #2-1900. During a call with Chesapeake Drilling Superintendent David Newman on 8/30/2018, I instructed Mr. Newman that no further drilling activity was to occur until SIMOPS conditions were completed on #2-1807. I spoke with Mr. Newman prior to the inspection and he stated that a workover rig was scheduled to move in on 9/7/2018 to remove the tubing from the well and install bridge plugs in the casing prior to lowering the well head. I will schedule a follow-up inspection to document the status of well #2-1807. |

1484620304 | 2016-06-23 | Production Wells | No Violations | My purpose for inspection was to conduct a first year temporary inactive well status inspection.
There is one well on the pad. The sign board posted at the lease entrance displayed signs with the well name, address, permit number and emergency contact information. The sign board had a noticeable lean backward. The lease road was graveled and in good repair with a gate at Clarks Mill Road. Erosion and sedimentation controls were in place and ground cover was well established along the lease road. I walked the entire location and found the well pad constructed with an earthen berm perimeter in good repair, being stabilized with well-established vegetation. Erosion and sedimentation controls are in place and functioning. The well pad was found to be enclosed by a chain link fence with barbed wire at the top. The primary entrance and escape doors were found locked. The surface of the well pad consists of gravel and is in good repair. A perimeter drain is installed with drains on the East and West sides of the pad. The standpipe on the East side was open and draining into an agricultural field. The West side standpipe was closed. The topsoil pile was stablized and covered with well established vegetation. The Sevek 8H was constrcted with 140 of 20 conductor, 600 of 13 3/8 surface casing, 1573.7 of 9 5/8 intermediate casing and 15231.6 of 5 1/2 production casing. Drilling was completed 7/16/2013 and stimulated 11/5/2013. The well head was constructed with a Christmas tree valve assembly and found to be protected by a perimeter of steel cattle gates further protected by concrete Jersey barriers. Proper signage was displayed. A cellar grate was in place to prevent falls. The cellar contained water with approximately 1 foot of freeboard. No sheen or leaking gas was observed on the water in the cellar. The 9 5/8 annular gauge indicated 0 psi. The production gauge indicated 0 psi. No other gauges were observed. The mousehole was cemented. G |
