The 9.625 annular pressure gauge indicated 200 psi. The 5.5 annular pressure gauge indicated 280 psi. The well was flowing during the inspection. The 5.5 production casing was equipped with a plunger lift assembly. Production equipment on the pad consisted of (1) sand knockout and GPU, one (1) hydrate inhibitor tank, one (1) meter run, one (1) thermal generator and two (2) 400 bbl produced water inside steel containment. The containment was lined with an impervious liner and was holding fresh water. No violations were observed during this inspection. |

Total depth was reached on 01/07/13 at 6:00am. There were no issues while drilling. 5.50 OD casing was set at 12,513 KB. A total of 82 centralizers were installed on the production casing. Schlumberger was the cementing contractor. There was good fluid circulation throughout the cementing operation. The cement was mudscaled during pumping at 14.9 lbs per gallon (ppg), 14.8 ppg, and 15.0 ppg. A total of 682 bbls of cement slurry at 15.0 ppg were pumped. Cement returns to surface were observed. An estimated 15 bbls of cement returned to surface. The plug was displaced with 278 bbls of water. The plug bumped the float collar at 2:32am on 01/09/2013. Pressure held. Erosion controls outside the pad remained in place A chain link fence with barbed wire top is constructed on the pad to prevent unauthorized entry. An Emergency Shut Down (ESD) button was adjacent to the main entrance gate. The main entry gate and escape doors positioned around the perimeter were found to be closed and locked. I walked the exterior perimeter and noted that the berm is in good repair and ground cover is well established. The area of disturbance around the pad has good ground cover. Crops are growing well outside the area of disturbance. The soil stockpile is well stabilized with vegetation. A closed-loop, above-ground drilling pit system was used, so there are no earthen pits requiring closure. The well has been hydraulically fractured, and has a Christmas tree valve assembly. The well is not connected to the GPU units at this time. The tank battery consist of two 400 barrel tanks. There are bull gates and concrete barriers surrounding the wellhead and cellar to prevent vehicle impacts. There are grates over the cellar to prevent falls. There is no ID tag on the well, but it is the only one on the site. The cellar is full of water to the top. The mouse hole has not been plugged, but has a steel plate welded on top. Preliminary restoration approval will not be granted pending installation of pipeline connecting the well to the GPU units. The area is also used as storage for some pipeline equipment. |
