0964465050 2016-08-23 Production Wells No Violations The purpose of my inspection was to conduct a status check of the Stonemetz #2 (#2-0946). The inspection was conducted with Regional Emergency Operations Manager Terry Whitehair. RBDMS indicates the operator has reported production within the last two years. The lease road is also utilized for agricultural purposes and remains in good repair. The well site is located within an agricultural field and is stable with well--0946 continues to produce crude oil and brine, creating a clear and present hazard in the event of a release. Within the dike, the production equipment consists of one (1) horizontal separator, one (1) 210 bbl production tank and one (1) buried concrete brine vault. The horizontal separator contained a production chart that was not current. No audible or visual leaks were detected. The production tank contained legible, correct and conspicuous identification. The load line valve was closed, locked and plugged. The heater box tubes were capped and welded. The brine drain valve was closed, locked and plumbed to the brine vault. The production tank contained approximately 1.5 feet of fluid. No leaks were observed on the tank body. The hatch lid was closed. I will contact the responsible Atlas Field Superintendent Rusty Morrison to increase the capacity of the dike.
