1011564058 2017-01-25 Production Wells No Violations The purpose of my inspection was to follow-up on the installation of an identification sign. Contract lease operator Dave Wittick sent a text message to my cellular telephone on 01.24.2017 stating he had placed the identification sign at well #2-0820. I stopped at the location and found correct and legible identification was present. No further action is necessary.
1219314424 2017-01-23 Production Wells No Violations The purpose of my inspection was to conduct a status check on well #2-0820. A review of RBDMS indicates the Owner reported zero (0) production in 2014. Lease access is through a residential driveway. The well head is located near the edge of a yard and remains stable. Well identification was not present. The 8.625 well head is below grade. The 4.5 production casing is equipped with tubing topped by a Demco gate valve that is in the closed position. The top of the gate valve contains a plug. All other production valves were closed. A domestic supply connection was present and the valve was open. I called and spoke with contract lease operator Dave Wittick concerning the current status of the well and location of the production equipment. Mr. Wittick stated that the well currently provided house gas and was not commercially produced. Also, the production equipment had been removed prior to his involvement with the well. During the call I also communicated to Mr. Wittick the missing identification sign. Mr. Wittick stated he would have the identification sign posted by the end of this week.
