0024507168 | 2014-01-08 | Production Wells | No Violations | My inspection found the well to be equipped with a pump jack. The mechanical separator is approximately 50 away from the well and 150 away from the tank battery. The tank battery consists of a 100 BBL production tank and a 100 BBL brine tank. The proper identification is on the tank battery. The dike around the tank battery needs rebuilt. The lease road is in stable condition. I will notify the company of the issues. |
0452375164 | 2014-08-14 | Production Wells | No Violations | I was on site to conduct a status check. Identification was posted at the wellhead. The tank battery consists of one 100 bbl production tank and one 100 bbl brine tank. The tank valves are plugged. The tank battery has no dike. Landowner has stacked firewood around and between the tanks. The wellhead is in a cattle pasture and is fenced off. The fenced off area includes the wellhead which is equipped with an electric pump jack and a domestic supply line, one vertical separator, and a meter housing with current charts showing production. The meter for the Derth-Tescher #2 (API 3402921450000) is located alongside the meter housing. The access road is stable. The operator will be contacted to clean up tank battery and install a dike. |

1576322668 | 2017-06-01 | Production Wells | No Violations | The purpose of my inspection was to conduct a status check on well #2-0595. A review of RBDMS indicated last reported production was in 2015. Lease access to the well was through a livestock pasture. An electrified perimeter fence was present around the well, separator, and meter house. The production tank was positioned outside of the pasture and adjacent to the lease right of way. The well location was stable. Identification was posted on the production tank that was within view. The 8.625 well head was below grade. The 4.5 production casing was equipped with an electric pump jack. No audible or visual leaks were detected. Some fluid staining consistent with a legacy operation was present on and adjacent to the well head. None of the fluid was fresh or live. Production valves were in the open position. A domestic supply connection was present. The vertical separator remained in good repair. No audible or visual leaks were detected. The standalone meter house contained a current 16 day chart. No audible or visual leaks were detected on the meter house flow lines. An earthen dike that was stable and free of fluid was constructed around the 100 bbl production tank. Correct and legible identification was present on the tank stairs. The tank was inverted. The body of the tank did not contain any holes or leaks. The load line valve was closed and plugged. The hatch lid was closed. No violations were observed during this inspection. |
