0779472549 2016-11-02 Production Wells No Violations I received a phone call from G&O Resources contract lease operator Mr. Jamie Gorson at 15:00 hours regarding corrective action necessary at well # 2-0581 detailed in Inspection Report # 1300633858. Mr. Gorson stated he planned to be on location beginning 11/5/2016 to correct the illegible identification, install missing bull plugs in the load and drain line valves on the production tank, clear brush and remove tires next to the separator and production tank. I will follow-up in the coming week to determine the progress of the work.
0852009068 2014-09-02 Production Wells No Violations I was on site to conduct a status check. Identification was posted on the tank battery but was not legible. The tank battery consists of one 100 bbl production tank and one horizontal separator. A brine tank was not observed. The tank valve is plugged. There is a meter box with a current chart showing production. No dike is present. The wellhead is equipped with a swage and a domestic supply line. The access road and site are stable. The operator will be contacted to address the identification and dike.
1227132684 2016-11-09 Production Wells No Violations I received a phone call from G&O Resources contract lease operator Jamie Gorson at 14:32. Mr. Gorson indicated that the all of the corrective repairs were not completed during the weekend. Mr. Gorson stated the identification legibility had been improved and plugs installed in the tanks drain valves. Mr. Gorson stated during conversations with the surface owner concerning the work, the surface owner requested to move the production tank away from the earthen berm at his expense. During the relocation of the tank, the remaining heavy brush would be cleared and tires relocated away from well related equipment. I communicated to Mr. Gorson that the proposal would be acceptable as long as minimum spacing requirements were met. Further, I requested Mr. Gorson have the corrective work completed on or before the Thanksgiving holiday (11/24/2016).
1300633858 2016-11-01 Production Wells No Violations The purpose of my inspection was to conduct a status check of well #2-0581. A review of RBDMS indicates the Owner is current with reporting production. The lease road is stable and drivable. The well location and production equipment are located adjacent to a shooting range. The surface owner has bermed soil up against the North side of the well and production equipment. Areas next to the separator and production tank are becoming overgrown with heavy, thorned brush. The surface owner also has discarded vehicle tires stored next to the separator and production tank. The 8.625 casing head is below grade. The 4.5 production casing is equipped with a swage to produce open flow. No identification is present at the well head. A domestic supply connection is present. No audible or visual leaks were detected. The well is plumbed to a meter set and currently does not produce through the separator. Production equipment on location consists of one (1) horizontal separator and one (1) 100 bbl production tank. Production valves on the separator were in the closed position. No audible or visual leaks were detected. The production tank contains an identification sign that is illegible. The tank body remains in good repair with no leaks. The load line valve is closed and does not contain a plug. The drain line valve is closed and does not contain a plug. The hatch lid is closed. While on location I contacted lease operator Jamie Gorson concerning the illegible identification, missing plugs in the load and drain line valves, lack of location maintenance and discarded tires. Mr. Gorson stated he would update the identification sign immediately, replace the missing bull plugs and would schedule the clearing of heavy brush from the separator and production tank. Mr. Gorson also stated he would communicate with the surface owner regarding tire removal.
1992321858 2016-12-29 Production Wells No Violations The purpose of my inspection was to follow-up on action performed by the Owner to correct compliance issues observed during Inspection #1300633858. The Owner has installed a new identification sticker that contains correct and legible identification on the body of the production tank. The drain valve is closed and contains a plug. The Owner also relocated the production tank away from the surface owners earthen berm. An earthen dike that is sufficient for containment is present around the production tank. Minimum spacing requirements between the well head and tank are met. Discarded tires the surface owner previously had stored near the production equipment have been removed. Mature vegetation near the horizontal separator has also been removed. No further action is necessary.
2145236037 2009-11-14 Production Wells No Violations Inspect wellsite at Jason Burtz ( landowner) request. Inspection revealed that the well is shut -in at this time.No violations at this time.
