0339871575 2018-01-16 Drill / Deepen / Reopen No Violations On the day of my inspection I witnessed Pioneer 77 drilling their lateral with an 8.5 inch diameter bit at a depth of 15322 feet. Company man Ralph DuPuis believes they will reach total depth by tomorrow morning. There is a flare burning during this insepction.
0398727692 2017-12-05 Casing String Witnessed No Violations I am on site today to witness the cementing of 30 inch conductor casing. Precision Drilling drilled a 36 inch diameter hole to a depth of 100 feet and ran 100 feet of 30 inch diameter 118 pound per foot conductor casing. O-Tex Pumping LLC pumped 330 sacks of class H cement, 1.2 yield, 15.6 pounds per gallon with 1.5 percent Calcium Chloride and 0.25 pound per sack cello-flake. O-Tex then displaced with 71 barrels of water, leaving 15 feet of cement in the casing. Good cement returned to surface and remained static. Approximately 19 barrels of cement returned to surface, Ascent left approximately 18 inches of cement in the cellar as a seal.
1188617579 2017-12-19 Casing String Witnessed No Violations On the day of my inspection I was accompanied by Inspector Andrew Corder. We witnessed the mine string cement job. Falcon 26 drilled a 24 inch diameter open hole to a depth of 306 feet. Previous casing set and cemented was 30 inch diameter conductor casing to a depth of 100 feet. Wyoming Casing ran 295 feet of 18.625 inch diameter casing with 6 feet of stick up, j-55, 87.5 lbs/foot. Shoe track is 24 feet long. Cement Baskets were set at 223 feet. Coal encountered at 252-257 feet. O-tex was onsite with 645 sacks of class H cement. Additives include 1.5% CaCl, 0.2% X-air, and .25 lb./sack cello-flake. Cement weighed with mudscale at 15.6 ppg and yield of 1.2. 70% excess ran in open hole. Cement ordered was for 320 foot wellbore not 306 so excess is actually greater than 70%. Cement displaced with 85 barrels of fresh water. 35 barrels of gel pumped ahead of cement. No returns to surface. Topout job will not start for another 4 hours. Left site. 85 barrels of class H neat cement pumped for top out.
1513795027 2017-12-19 Casing String Witnessed No Violations I was on site accompanied by Inspector Dylan Pendleton. The company had reached total depth in the 24-inch diameter open hole section of the well bore and 18.625-inch diameter casing was installed and cemented into the well bore. O-
1755048946 2018-01-11 Casing String Witnessed No Violations On the day of my inspection I witnessed the surface casing cement job. Pioneer 77 drilled a 12.25 inch diameter open hole to a depth of 8620 feet. Previous casing cemented was 13.375 inch diameter, 61# surface casing to 1608 feet. Wyonming casing ran 8611 feet of 9.625 icnh diameter, 40#, hcl-80 casing. This is a 2 stage cement job with a DV tool set at 4688 feet. Shoe track is 86.5 feet long. Stage 1: 50 barrel of 14.3# spacer followed by 515 sacks of neocem 15.3 ppg and 1.284 yield. Tail cement is 770 sacks of halcem, 15 ppg and 1.1 yield. This was displaced with 646 barrels. 57 barrels cement to surface. Stage 2: 50 barrel of 14.3 spacer followed by 1420 sacks of neocem 15.3 ppg and 1.284 yield. This was displaced with 355 barrels. 88 barrels cement to surface. I did not witness cement to surface on second stage.
