0048366546 | 2018-03-14 | Surface Facility Construction | No Violations | On the day of my inspection there was no activity currently happening on this location. The location does appear to be out of the construction phase and ready for drilling activity. Permits for drilling have been issue but the operator has not commenced operations at this time. The location was contained within chain-linked fencing. |
1555435416 | 2019-04-16 | Casing String Witnessed | No Violations | On site inspection to witness the conductor casing cement job with Precision Rat Hole top hole rig on location along with Petroset Cement Service. The well was spudded on 04/15/2019 and the rig has drilled a 30 diameter conductor borehole to a measured depth from ground level of 98. The rig inserted 100 of 24 diameter 94.6 pound per foot casing, Petroset Cement Service pumped a 52.5 barrel 250 sack class A cement mix, the cement weight was 15.6 pound per gallon and the yield was 1.18. The cement was displaced with 46 barrels of fresh water. The tin horn cellar set was 8 deep x 10 wide with no circulation or cement returns witnessed to surface. The area was reportedly previously mined for coal and records indicate 60 of mine spoil. The driller indicated the ground was hard and not previously disturbed however the fluid level never rose above 55 measured depth from ground level. The company representative Doug Bennett indicated they would top the well off from surface. |
1557872495 | 2019-05-14 | Casing String Witnessed | No Violations | The purpose of my inspection was to witness the cementing of the 13.375-inch diameter surface casing within a 17.5-inch diameter borehole. Falcon 25 along with the assistance of Wyoming Casing Crew set the casing at 1675 feet from the rig floor. The rig floor is at 12 feet from ground level. During my inspection a safety meeting was held with all personnel on location. Following the safety meeting C&J Energy Services pumped 35 barrels of gel and 5 barrels of fresh water ahead of 1280 sacks of class A cement. The cement was weighed in pressurized mud scales confirming the weight of 15.6 pounds per gallon. The plug was dropped, and 248 barrels were pumped for displacement. Cement returns were established and witnessed in the cellar. After landing the plug the pressure was increased 500 pounds per square inch and held for 5 minutes. The floats held and .5 barrel was bled back to the truck. |
