0004824725 2017-11-15 Drill / Deepen / Reopen No Violations On the day of my inspection Patterson 584 was drilling an 8.5 inch diameter hole at a depth of 10854 feet. Rig has an intermittent flare. Containment is still having issues on corner near the air compressors. Pad drains are shut in and nothing is leaving pad. On 11/16 Company man sent a picture of the containment that has been redone and bermed with crushed limestone
0697954877 2017-11-07 Drill / Deepen / Reopen No Violations On the day of my inspection Patterson 584 was tripping back in the hole with their 12.25 inch diameter bit. They cemented 13.375 inch diameter casing Friday but had to make a bit trip after they started drilling. Hole is currently at 7080 feet and they are at 5054 feet on their way back in. Company man said that hole is making water and believed it came in around 6000. He estimated the hole is making 30-35 barrels an hour but said it was just a guess as they were getting water trucks in and out and have not been able to watch it without other interference. Containment was viewed this date and is over topping on a corner. Area has received significant rains over the past few days and is raining during my inspection. Roustabout was sucking water out of containment to try to stop the flow from containment.
1505400863 2017-09-14 Casing String Witnessed No Violations On the day of my inspection I witnessed Precison Rathole had augured a 36 inch diameter hole to 98 feet. 100 feet of 30 inch diameter conductor casing was run, with two foot stick up. O-tex was onsite with 360 sacks of class A cement. Additives include 1.5% CaCl, 0.2% X-air, and .25 lb./sack cello-flake. Cement weighed with mudscale at 15.6 ppg and yield of 1.2. 75% percent excess ran. Cement was displaced with 69 barrels of fresh water. 20 barrels of cement returned to surface. Conductor hole had water estimated at 25 feet from the cellar floor prior to starting job and circulation was gained upon pumping.
1509731774 2017-11-04 Casing String Witnessed No Violations On the day of my inspection I witnessed the surface casing cement job. Patterson 584 drilled a 17.5 inch diameter open hole to a depth of 1626 feet. Previous casing set and cemented was 18.625 inch diameter mine string casing to a depth of 293 feet. Wyoming casing ran 1621 feet of 13.375 inch diameter casing, j-55, 54.5 lbs/foot. Shoe track is 44 feet long. Schlumberger was onsite with 1300 sacks of class A surfaceset cement. . Cement weighed with mudscale at 15.6 ppg and yield of 1.2. 40% excess ran in open hole. Cement displaced with 240 barrels of fresh water. 20 barrels of gel pumped ahead of cement. 80 barrels of cement returned to surface, and floats held with 0.5 barrels back.
1511212112 2017-11-20 Drill / Deepen / Reopen No Violations On the day of my inspection I witnessed Patterson 584 drilling their 8.5 inch diameter hole at 19230 feet. Pad has an intermittant flare and containment appears in working order. Corner of containment that was repaired is holding up well.
