0050402351 2016-05-05 Production Wells No Violations My inspection found the tank battery was equipped with one 100 barrel steel tank and one separator. The tank was on wooden beams. There was a 210 barrel steel tank lying on its side next to the 100 barrel tank. The 210 barrel was not connected to anything. There was oil saturated soil around and underneath the 100 barrel tank. I took two photos of the oil saturated area around the tank. The well was equipped with a concoil unit. The valve on the production casing was closed to the flow line. This well was not in production at the time of my inspection. REQUIRED REMEDIAL WORK: Remove oil saturated soil from the tank battery area.
1513795123 2018-03-01 Production Wells No Violations I inspected this well pursuant to Chiefs Order #2016-300 issued for lack of insurance. The well and associated battery are located on a rural farm parcel. At the time of this inspection, I noted the following: a wellhead with concoil system in a open farm field. The system was idle. The flow-line connections were closed. The associated tank battery was comprised of one 100-barrel production tank and horizontal separator. There was a discarded 210-barrel steel tank lying horizontally across the tank battery. There was some residual oil and oil-impacted peat material inside the secondary containment area from a previous release or spill, and that had not been remediated. There were no signs that the well was being produced. There was no legible identification or signage. There remained no active insurance.
