0484001074 | 2014-01-08 | Orphan | No Violations | The tubing has rusted off at the well head. The well is leaking gas presently. Water in the annulus of the long string and surface casing is frozen. |
1366294532 | 2013-04-18 | Orphan | No Violations | Well was previously entered as orphan. According to records, surface owner did not return paperwork. The well is equipped with rods and tubing. Flowline is no longer connected. The production casing is loose and when shook, gas releases from the annulus of the surface casing. There is an oily sheen on the water in the surface annulus. The new surface owner is interested pursuing plugging. |
1392309388 | 2014-02-04 | Orphan | No Violations | An inspection of this well was conducted in response to a referral received from Oil & Gas Inspector, Tom Zacharyasz. This inspection revealed an idle well with unknown ownership. The well consisted of 9.5 outside diameter (OD) drive pipe, 6 (OD) casing equipped with an older style wellhead, tubing collar, and rods. A visual observation through an opening on the side of the wellhead without a bull plug confirmed only a section of a rod with no tubing. It was also noted that this section of rod was loose and may require fishing for plugging and abandonment. The annular space between the 9.5 and 6 casings contained fluid at the surface that was frozen. A disconnected steel tank was found approximately 50 away from the well with no identification, but did contain a tank number that stated 109069. A GPS reading was obtained and recorded for a potential entry point. The well is situated on a property designated as agricultural field with no overhead obstructions. Property ownership was unknown at time of the inspection and will need to be researched. |
