Inspection Data

Inspections Performed

1107174904 2017-05-23 Production Wells No Violations The well is idle and there is no pump jack at the well. There is a bucket covering the top of the open casing in the well. Jeremy of Deep Resources and Tom Benko of ODNR on site during inspection. Deep Resources requested inspection of this well due to a possible registration error. Deep Resources is reporting production from the well under API 34-005-2-1536 which is the API corresponding to this well. 44 barrels of oil were reported for 2016. On December 8, 2006, Tom Tomastik of the Division assigned API 34-005-2-1297 to RA Miller Energy as the TW Miller 22. The TW Miller 22 was not drilled under permit 34-005-2-1297 and the wellcard for that API indicates that it was replaced by 34-005-2-1536. The TW Miller 22 was drilled under permit 34-005-2-1536. The wellcard for this API indicates that it replaced 2-1297. It appears that a clerical error assigned API 34-005-2-1297 to RA Miller Energy, who has now taken over Deep Resources, in December of 2006. Jeff and Jeremy of Deep Resources were contacted on 8/22/2017 at the company facility to discuss this well. They are evaluating whether to plug the well or replace the pump and return it to production. They are going to install a swage on the open casing to properly shut the well in until they make a decision on plugging or repairing the well. The operator also needs to contact bonding about the well registration.
1221265464 2015-02-26 Production Wells No Violations The well is not in production and is shut in. The pump jack is not connected to the well and the rods have been removed. The well is unidentified. Permit 2-1297 also corresponds to this well. Records indicate that this API replaced 2-1297. The operator refers to this well as 2-1297, which has ND status. The well belongs to Deep Resources.
