2223856 Primary Facility 2013-11-22 Incident- Response to Accident or Event No Violations Noted Inspection the result of a spill reported to the Department on 11/21/2013 at 10:30pm in regards to a synthetic drilling mud spill at the WPX Gera Well site. The Operator reported an approximatly 1 barrell spill onto containment. During the inspection the Department observed the containment area located durectly under the drill rig floor and in the vacitly of the cellar area that appeard to stained with the reminacen of the previously mentioned spill. The Department notes that the Operator indicated the spill was addressed by vacuuming the drilling mud for off site disposal. The Department also notes the Operator followed the prcedure setforth in the current spill policy for addressing small spills and notifcation of the Department. Also attached for reference is the MSDS for the synthetic drilling mud.

All earth disturbance activities, associated with the site, appear to be complete and stabilized; however the site does not have 70% uniform vegetative growth needed for restoration. PCSM BMPs are installed and appear to be functioning properly. The Department suggests the Operator continue to monitor the weekly and after precipitation events to ensure the stability of the site is maintained.
