2466747 Primary Facility 2016-03-21 Routine/Partial Inspection No Violations Noted Site inspection in response to the Operators submission of a discharge plan associated with the impoundment located onsite.

The discharge plan indicates that the Operator intends to discharge approximately 2 million gallons of fresh water from the impoundment. The area of discharge appears to be stable with sufficient vegetative growth to prevent accelerated erosion and sedimentation. The plan also included water quality analysis. The analysis meets meet the requirement for discharge outlined in 78.60 for conductivity and pH. No sheen was observed in the impoundment during the inspection. The discharge area is not within 100’ of waters of the commonwealth and not with 200’ of a water supply.

At the time of inspection the well was drilled and equipped for production. The well apparatus and brine tanks appeared to be in sound condition. No observation of accelerated erosion or sedimentation observed during the inspection.
