2374575 Primary Facility 2015-05-27 Follow-up Inspection Pending At the time of inspection the pyritic seep, first observed in March of 2013, still exists. The pyritic seeps appear to be preventing vegetative growth at the site. The vegetative growth is not uniform and does not meet restoration requirements. As previously discussed as a remedy the Department allowed for the installation of infiltration ditches and has given the site a full growing season. The addition of the ditches and a full growing season has not resulted in the elimination of the pyritic seep. The Department suggests the Operator continue to monitor the site and begin to develop a strategy to eliminate or treat the seep. The Department would also like to request a meeting to discuss this seep and the strategies implemented to resolve this issue.
