2482164 Primary Facility 2016-04-29 Routine/Complete Inspection No Violations Noted Well drilled to completion and is capable of production.
2652045 Primary Facility 2017-10-17 Site Restoration No Violations Noted On October 17, 2017, the Department performed an inspection of the Range Resources Hercules well pad. The site is located in Donegal Twp., Washington Co. The inspection was related to a well restoration report, for the wells drilled on site, submitted by the operator.

The well pad access road and well pad are in good condition.

The site has been restored and is stable with greater than 70% vegetative cover. The operator Range Resources has re-permitted the site as a ESCGP2 permit. The operator has recently installed the PCSMs.

6 wells have been drilled to completion and are equipped for production on site. The GPUs on site are not in secondary containment. The operator will need to place the GPUs into containment in the future.

2777057 Primary Facility 2018-09-11 Routine/Complete Inspection No Violations Noted On 9/11/2018 at approximately 11:20, I conducted a routine site inspection of the Hercules well site located in Donegal Township, Washington County. The following was observed:
  • Act 9 sign located at the site entrance was in good condition.
  • All wells on site were clearly marked and appeared to be in good condition.
  • GPUs on site appeared to be in good condition. GPUs were not within secondary containment but were installed prior to October 2016.
  • Production fluid/condensate tanks were within secondary containment and were in good condition.
  • A small sloughing of a slope was observed in response to a recent precipitation event which should be monitored by the operator. The impacted area was located on the slope of the retention pond to the south of the well pad and appeared to be contained within a small area.

No violations were found during this inspection.
