Personnel from the USFS brought to my attention the non-production of the wells on this lease. USFS stated that the special use permit for the access road has expired. USFS spoke with Utica Resources in the fall of 2017 regarding renewal of the special use permit. Utica Resources did not wish to renew the permit, as they are not producing the wells.
Given this information, the production report submissions for 2016, and the lack of maintenance on the lease, it has been determined that the well is abandoned as defined in section 3203 of the 2012 Oil & Gas Act. |
