Numerous puddles with petroleum sheen were observed within the containment area. A vacuum truck is on site working to remove the puddles, both within and outside of the containment. No violations were cited during this inspection. |

The site has been permitted to remain at full pad size. Some materials associated with adjacent pipeline construction are being stored by another contractor on the pad. | 2787732 | Primary Facility | 2018-10-09 | Incident- Response to Accident or Event | No Violations Noted | At 1240 on 10/8/18 Mike Deming of SWN reported a spill of approximately 10 to 15 gallons of produced water to the surface of the Cupper well pad to the 24-hour emergency line.
I arrived on the Cupper pad at 1229 on 10/9/18. I met there with Mike Deming and two other SWN employees. He showed me the location of the spill which was next to the containment for the produced water tanks. He informed me that contaminated soil had already been removed from the surface at the site of the spill and placed in a roll-off tank that was still located on site at the time of my inspection. Mr. Deming told me that before removing the soil, they were getting conductivities of 1.5mS/cm to 2mS/cm where the spill occurred. The affected area of the pad was covered with a tarp. The pad surface under the tarp appeared slightly darker in color than the surrounding pad surface but appeared to be almost completely dry.
